A big hello from me, Cristina, otherwise known as ‘Meraki’. Wedding Celebrant in Spain (Valencia, Alicante).

Meraki is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe what happens when you put ‘something of yourself’ into what you’re doing.  Meraki is the union of your soul, creativity and love put into your work. Is your essence.

And that’s what I do! I’m incredibly passionate about being a Wedding Celebrant and I put my heart and soul into every ceremony I create.

I have a degree in Journalism from the University of Valencia, I love learning languages, I’m a skillful storyteller, an accomplished public speaker and my passion for weddings led me to become a wedding celebrant. 

Your Wedding Celebrant in Spain

For me, officiating at the most important event in your life is a vocation and a total privilege. 

I am a professional, independent celebrant who works in Spain. Whether you are planning to get married, renewing your vows, celebrating a special anniversary, I will work closely with you to handwrite and officiate a unique and beautiful ceremony to reflect your happiness, your love story and your relationship.

I start with a blank canvas for each and every couple I work with… there is no standard ceremony script here!

Every couple is unique and amazing and your ceremony should be unique and amazing too. It should reflect your own special story, the very essence of who you are and what you want. 

What to Expect from a Wedding Celebrant

Erm… You want fun? Ok, I’m not a stand-up comedian, but these are my vows to you: I will write and officiate a wedding ceremony that entirely reflects both you and your love.

It will be as romantic as you are, as funny as you are, as dynamic as you are… It’s really up to you!  

I want to get to know each couple whose wedding ceremony I create and conduct, and therefore meeting up in person is always the way I like to work. But if distance doesn’t allow, then Skype, FaceTime, etc… video calls are a great alternative!

And I’m there with you every step of the way, throughout the entire process; to guide and advise, share ideas and thoughts.

Prior to your big day, I’ll rehearse with you. We’ll talk about how it is going to be your ceremony – relaxing and reassuring you as much as possible, so that you know exactly what to expect when the magical moment of your ceremony arrives.
